Jeff Martin Auctioneers, INC continues to grow steadily in the first quarter of 2023 with a 25% increase in gross sales over the same period in 2022. Jeff Martin Auctioneers and their partners at Freije & Freije Auctioneers conducted 23 live and online auction events to kick off the first three months of 2023. The highlight was the Annual Winter Kissimmee Florida Auction in February. The annual Florida event saw thousands of bidders in person and online from all 50 US States and 30 countries. Jeff Martin Auctioneers also conducted auctions in Indiana, Minnesota, Texas, South Carolina, North Carolina, Mississippi, and Ohio.

Equipment trends from Q1:
• Clean, ready-to-work equipment still experienced strong demand • Vocational trucks in all regions continued to demand premium prices • Demand for over-the-road commercial trucks continued to decline • High-hour and rough equipment continue to decline in value • Overall, buyer confidence was still strong for both "weekend warriors" and construction businesses and contractors. • Increased participation from Central America and the entire Global South in all Q1 Auctions
Highlight from Q1:
• New focus on cranes, heavy transport, and aerial equipment with the addition of Bryan Carr, Crane Specialist, and the Crane Ring at the Annual Winter Kissimmee Florida Auction • Attending and exhibiting at the ConExpo-Con/Agg in Las Vegas, Nevada • Second auction at the Houston (Splendora), Texas, location • Largest auctions to date in Florida, Mississippi, South Carolina, and Minnesota.
Looking ahead to the second quarter of 2023, Jeff Martin Auctioneers and their partners have 25 Live and online auctions scheduled for April, May, and June. The second quarter schedule includes ten auctions in the Ohio Valley Region and three in the growing Northeast Region. A highlight will be the Metro Equipment & Rental Company on April 12th in Odessa, Texas.
